Consultations
For your convenience, all consultations are by appointment only. This helps us to cut down on the time you and your pet have to wait. Emergency cases are seen as soon as possible.
Out Of Hours arrangements
If your pet becomes ill or is involved in an accident outside of our normal opening hours you can rest assured that a dedicated emergency veterinary team is available to care for your pet. All emergency cases can be seen by our dedicated out-of-hours provider “Vets Now”. Please telephone the normal surgery number to be given the contact telephone number for the Vet on duty.Vets Now staff are able to give you advice over the phone and they will tell you if they think it is safe for your pet to wait until the morning to see a vet.
Equipment
Both our branches have a comprehensive range of modern diagnostic and surgical facilities. We have in-house analysis machines for routine blood testing, microscopy and urine analysis. This allows the quick turn around of samples which can be critical especially in emergency cases. There is an external laboratory which is used for more complex tests such as biopsies. We have a large range of equipment including x-ray facilities, dental machines for restorative and prophylactic dentistry, ECG machines, Blood pressure monitors, microscopes, ultrasound machine and endoscope.
